Chanel Teaboú, a New Jersey native, is quickly growing to connect with fans of musicianship through very personal ballads that display a talent only best characterized as star-quality. The youngest of 5, Teaboú began singing with her siblings as a child and credits her father as being an instrumental figure in influencing her drive and passion for the artistry of and love for music. Merging blues and sultry soul, Teaboú’s sound couples tradition elements with an authentic grit rarely seen in much of today’s mainstream music. And with music inspirations like Donny Hathaway, Peabo Bryson, and Etta James, it’s no surprise that many describe her sound as one that is simultaneously timeless and on-trend.

Alongside writing and production powerhouse “Milk + Sizz,” Chanel has found success lending her vocal talents to the film and television industry. Teaboú has notably landed music credits on Fox Digital Studios’ Teen Comedy ‘Mono’ as well as various international TV outlets. Yearning for more, Teaboú now takes the deepest dive of her career yet, stepping beyond the booth, to pursue life as an artist.
